At Axon Therapy & Child Development, we understand that each child is unique and may require a personalized approach to reach their full potential. That’s why we offer comprehensive assessments conducted by a multidisciplinary team of therapists. Our team includes specialists in various fields, working together to provide a holistic understanding of your child’s needs.

Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist:

Focuses on diagnosing and treating behavioral, learning, and neurodevelopmental disorders. They conduct thorough diagnostic evaluations through clinical interviews and observations, and develop individualized treatment plans that may include therapy, medication, and other interventions.

Clinical Psychologist:

Specializes in assessing and treating cognitive, emotional, and social challenges. They use validated tools to perform psychological evaluations and provide interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), play therapy, and family counseling to support the child's mental health and development.

Occupational Therapist:

Works to improve a child's ability to perform daily activities by focusing on sensory processing, motor planning (praxis), social skills, cognitive abilities, behavior, and adaptive functions. Play-based learning inspired by Finland's HEI Schools curriculum and outdoor learning

The Finnish early childhood education is world-famous for a reason. In addition to teaching academic skills, this curriculum encourages children to learn through interaction with the people and environment around them. Learning through play can foster engagement with multiple brain areas, leading to strenghtened motor skills and more.
